The Mission Mid-Del Toy Store

The Toy Store provides families in need with new and nearly new toys for Christmas. Toy donations are accepted any time of the year, but toy drive efforts begin in November and are sponsored by Meadowood Baptist Church and its members. The Toy Store is usually held in early December. If you have questions, please contact Mission Mid-Del, Inc./ Master's Market 405-737-2010.

Toy Store applications are available through Mid-Del Schools or Master's Market. Applications are available to Master’s Market clients the first open day of October through the Thursday before Thanksgiving. Application forms can also be obtained through the child's school counselor. The following schools participate in the Mission Mid-Del Toy Store program:

Toy Donations

People who want to buy toys but are not members of Meadowood Baptist Church are asked to make monetary donations. Please designate your donation to the "Toy Store." Members of Meadowood Baptist Church are asked to bring toy donations according to their community group assignments.

Small hand-held electronic devices.
Building Blocks of various kinds.
Transportation Vehicles
Sports Items: Balls, etc.
Watches
Radios
Hair care accessories.
Jewelry Making Kits
Educational Games
Sets with lotion or bath products for older children.
Grooming kits for older boys, up to age 18.
Wagons, new or in good conditon.
Tricycles
Scooters
Bikes, new or in good condition.
Bike Helmets

Please Do Not Buy
War toys of any kind: Swords, toy guns, etc.
We also do not need stuffed animals, puzzles, dolls, doll assessories, CDs, or books.
(These items are plentiful through used donations.)
Volunteers

"Toy Store" volunteers are always needed to: (1) Move donations from the Mission Mid-Del, Inc. facility to Meadowood Baptist Church, (2) set up the "Toy Store," (3) counsel clients who are gift shopping, (4) guide shoppers through the "Toy Store," (5) help the Meadowood kitchen staff prepare and serve lunch to volunteers, (6) and take down the "Toy Store," (7) and move remaining items back to the Mission Mid-Del, Inc. facility.
